AI assistant: negotiate Vinted offers automatically

6 pasos

When a buyer makes you an offer on Vinted, Bleam's AI assistant replies for you: it accepts the offer if it reaches the minimum price you set, otherwise it sends a counter-offer, and it never goes lower. Example with the starting settings: a €40 item can drop by €8 at most, so its minimum price is €32. To a €25 offer, the assistant replies €36. If the buyer stays below €32, it offers €34, then €32 as its final offer. A €33 offer is accepted straight away.

Countering pays: across 118,698 price proposals studied by Bleam, buyers usually ask for 27.8% off, and when the sale happens, it's usually 12.8% below the listed price. The assistant runs as long as a Vinted tab is open on your computer, or 24/7 with Bleam Cloud. Here is every setting, one by one.

1

What the assistant does with each offer

The assistant reads every new offer, whether it comes through Vinted's offer button or is written in a message ("I'll take it for €25"). It compares it with your minimum price: the item price minus your max drop.

- Offer at or above the minimum price: it accepts.
- Offer below it: it sends a counter-offer, then the next one if the buyer stays below, down to your minimum price.
- Request with no amount ("can you do a better price?"): it makes its first counter-offer.
- The buyer insists after the final offer: it politely declines and goes no lower.
- The buyer renegotiates after a deal: it reminds them of the price already accepted.
- Unreadable amount, or two prices, one below your minimum and one at or above it: it asks the buyer to clarify, once per conversation.

Setting 1: the max drop, tier by tier

In Bleam, open Automatic negotiation. If you manage several Vinted accounts, pick the right one at the top of the page.

The How low the assistant can go card splits your prices into tiers (for example €30 to €40). For each tier, you enter the max drop in euros, and Bleam shows the lowest price next to it: "Item at €40, €32 at the lowest". An item takes the max drop of the tier its price falls into.

Starting settings: €2 up to €10, €4 from €15 to €20, €8 from €30 to €40, €15 from €90 to €100, €25 from €180 to €200. You can add, edit or remove a tier, and go back to the starting settings with Reset.

Two safeguards: the max drop never exceeds half the item price, and a €0 max drop means the assistant doesn't negotiate in that tier.

3

Setting 2: the pace of counter-offers

The Pace of the drops card sets the share of the max drop the assistant gives up with each counter-offer. Starting setting: 50% at stage 1, 80% at stage 2, then the final offer at the minimum price.

On the €40 item (€8 max drop):

1. Stage 1: €36, so €4 off (half the max drop)
2. Stage 2: €34 (80% of €8 is €6.40, rounded to €6)
3. Final offer: €32, your minimum price

Each stage can be set from 10 to 95%, and you can have up to 5 before the final offer. Amounts are rounded based on the item price: to 10 cents under €15, to 50 cents up to €25, to the euro above. The final offer always lands exactly on the minimum price.

Finally, the assistant never offers a higher price than an offer the buyer already got from you, including the one from favorite messages.

Setting 3: the messages, moment by moment

For each moment of the negotiation, you write several versions of the message, and the assistant picks one at random. {price} is replaced with the amount.

- Acceptance: "Perfect, I accept your offer"
- Counter-offer: "How about this price?"
- Final offer: "This really is my lowest price"
- After the final offer, after acceptance and fallback (when the amount needs clarifying)

You also choose the assistant's personality (young, professional, caring or adaptive), tu or vous, and the language it writes in, out of 10.

5

Setting 4: delay and sending order

In Timing and sending order:

- Delay before sending message: immediate, or up to 5 minutes (3 seconds to start with), for a natural pace.
- Counter-offer send order: message then offer (starting setting), or offer then message.

6

Turn it on and let it run

Once everything is set, go to Vinted, click the Bleam bubble and turn on Automatic negotiation. In Bleam, the same toggle is called Negotiate offers.

From there, the assistant handles all incoming offers per your rules. You track everything from Bleam: how many conversations were handled, the response rate and the sales closed.

For it to run, keep a Vinted tab open in your browser (computer on). To keep Bleam running with the computer off, there's Bleam Cloud.
