Favourites, messages and after-sale

Lots of favourites but no sale on Vinted: what should I do?

On Vinted, lots of favourites and no sale means buyers who are hesitating: make them an offer, then lower the price, two things Bleam does on its own. In Bleam's study of 478,885 favourite messages, an offer of 10 to 15% brings 52% more sales than a message with no offer. A price drop, for its part, is notified by Vinted to the members who favourited the item. Keep reposting for last: it creates a new listing, which starts again from zero favourites.

In detail

In order, for an item that's stuck

  1. The offer to favourites. It lowers the price for one buyer and leaves the displayed price for everyone else: a €30 item with a 10% offer drops to €27 for them. Bleam sends it on its own for every new favourite, usually within minutes.
  2. The price drop, after a week without a sale. It applies to everyone and re-engages the members who favourited the item all at once, through Vinted's notification. Bleam's Lifecycle does it step by step, never going below the floor you set.
  3. The repost, last. The listing comes back at the top as new, in front of new buyers, but loses its favourites: keep it for an item that no longer attracts any.
