Vinted holiday mode: how does it work, and how do I avoid losing sales while I'm away?
Vinted's holiday mode hides all your listings for up to 90 days, and you can turn it off at any time: switch it on when you won't be able to ship. For an absence of a few days, keep your listings live instead, since Vinted gives you 5 business days to send a sold item. Meanwhile, with Bleam Cloud, Bleam's AI assistant replies and negotiates 24/7 with your computer off, and the app notifies you of every sale.
In detail
Turning on holiday mode
- In the Vinted app: your Profile, "Holiday mode", then the "Hide my items" button.
- On the website: your Account settings, the "Holiday mode" button, then "Save" at the bottom of the page.
Your listings no longer show in the feed, in the catalogue or on your listings page. A Bump or Showcase you've already paid for isn't extended: better not to buy one just before you leave.
Short or long absence
- A weekend, two or three days: keep your listings live. A sale on Saturday ships on Monday, well before the 5-business-day limit after which Vinted cancels the order.
- Longer, with nobody to ship: turn on holiday mode before you leave, so you don't sell anything you couldn't send in time.
During a short absence, with Bleam
With Bleam Cloud, your Vinted accounts run on a server: the AI assistant answers questions and negotiates within your margin, day and night, and with automatic shipping label ordering, Bleam orders the label as soon as a sale is detected. In the Bleam app for iPhone and Android, a notification comes in for every sale, and the inbox for all your accounts stays at hand. When you're back, all that's left is printing the labels and dropping off the parcels.
Before you leave, add a fact to the assistant's Memory, for example "Away this weekend, parcels ship on Monday": it draws on it to answer a buyer who asks when their parcel will ship.
