What does the "En demande" badge mean on Vinted?

On Vinted, "En demande" (French for "in demand") is a badge with a small red flame that buyers see on some listings receiving offers right now. It's neither a reservation nor a sale: anyone can still buy the item until it's paid for. For you as a seller, it's a sign that offers are coming in: reply fast, and counter-offer rather than accept the first lowball offer. Bleam's AI assistant does it on its own, 24/7 with Bleam Cloud.

In detail

What we know about the badge

  • It's shown to buyers, and it's temporary. An example reported by the French outlet CMCM on 17 May 2026 read "18 acheteurs ont envoyé une offre récemment" (18 buyers sent an offer recently).
  • Sellers on the vint-aide forum saw it appear in April 2025 as soon as an offer came in, accepted or not. They don't see it on their own listings, only on other people's.
  • Vinted hasn't published a help page or any display criteria. Asked by CMCM, Vinted only said the badge "was introduced some time ago".

What it changes for you as a seller

Offers are coming in on your item: time to reply fast, and not to sell yourself short. In Bleam's study of 118,698 price proposals, buyers usually ask for 28% off the listed price, but with a counter-offer, the sale usually closes between 11 and 15% below that price.

Example from the study: on a €50 jacket, the buyer offers €32; after a counter-offer, it often sells for about €44.50.

With Bleam

  • The AI assistant answers every offer for you: it accepts any offer that reaches your minimum price and counter-offers below it, within the margin you set, never going lower. It runs as long as Vinted is open, or 24/7 with Bleam Cloud, with your computer off.
  • Favourite messages send your message, with the offer of your choice, to everyone who favourites the item, within minutes.

On the buyer's side

If you see the badge on an item you like, other members are making offers on it right now: it may go quickly, to whoever pays first.
