Offer accepted on Vinted but no payment: how long should I wait, and what should I do?
On Vinted, an accepted offer doesn't reserve anything: until the buyer presses "Buy now", they can back out, and the item stays on sale. Vinted's help page on offers gives no payment deadline: no need to wait, send the buyer a quick reminder. With Bleam Nexus, that reminder goes out on its own 24 hours after an offer accepted by the AI assistant, if the buyer has neither paid nor replied.
In detail
What Vinted says
- An offer doesn't bind the buyer. Even once it's accepted, they're free not to buy.
- The item stays on sale. Until the buyer presses "Buy now" in the conversation, another member can make an offer or buy it.
What to do
Send them a short message, for example: "€26 is fine with me, all that's left is to press Buy now in the conversation." And keep the item listed: if they don't pay, the next buyer can take it.
With Bleam
- No offer accepted too low. The AI assistant accepts any offer equal to or above your minimum price, and answers lower ones with a counter-offer. On a €30 item with a maximum discount of €6, an offer of €26 is accepted, and an offer of €20 gets a counter-offer.
- A thank-you as soon as they pay. The "Message after sale" goes out on its own once the buyer has paid, and Bleam can order the shipping label right away.
- A follow-up without thinking about it. With Bleam Nexus, an offer accepted or a counter-offer sent by the assistant that gets no reply and no payment for 24 hours triggers a follow-up message. The "Offers only" setting keeps follow-ups for these unpaid offers.
