Does a sleeping computer count as on?

No. While asleep, the browser isn't running: Bleam is stopped until wake-up. Turn off automatic sleep if you want Bleam to work while you're away from the screen.

Do I have to keep Vinted visible on screen?

No, a Vinted tab open in the background is enough. Do avoid leaving a Vinted conversation open in front of you, though: Bleam may fail to send the automatic message there.

What about on a phone?

On iPhone (Orion) and Android (Yandex), favourite messages, messaging and shipping labels run thanks to Active Standby. Reposting, however, needs a computer — or Bleam Cloud.

Does the Bleam app replace the computer?

No. The app is for viewing and steering: your sales, messages, listings, schedules. The engine remains the extension, on your computer or in Bleam Cloud.

Yes, by default. Bleam is an extension: it works from your browser, on an open Vinted tab. Here's exactly what that means, and the option that removes this constraint.

How Bleam works

Bleam runs inside your browser, as an extension. As long as a Vinted tab is open and the computer is on and not asleep, everything works: favourite messages, assistant replies and negotiations, scheduled reposts, shipping labels, messaging.

The tab can stay in the background: you can work on something else. It simply has to exist.

What happens when the computer is off

Bleam stops, and resumes as soon as you reopen Vinted. Nothing is lost:

- scheduled tasks (reposts, publications) wait for the next opening and run then;
- favourite messages and assistant replies go out late, on resume;
- actions started from the Bleam app stay queued.

In practice: a computer off at night means no replies to buyers at night. If you have the Bleam app, a notification warns you when your Vinted session hasn't shown signs of life for a while.

To run Bleam 24/7 without a computer: Bleam Cloud

Bleam Cloud runs your extension on a Bleam server, continuously, with your Vinted accounts signed in inside it. Your computer can be off: replies, negotiations, favourites and reposts keep going.

It's an option of your subscription, activated from your space on bleam.app. Once your Cloud sessions are connected, there's nothing left to keep on.
