Troubleshooting Bleam automations
When the AI assistant or favourite messages seem inactive, the issue almost always comes from the browser or the Vinted session. Here are the seven checks to run in order. Most blocks clear up in the first steps. If it's specifically your favourite messages (or AI replies) that aren't going out, the dedicated section below gathers the most common causes.
Switch to the Brave browser
Brave is Chromium-based like Chrome but far more compatible with Bleam. Download Brave for free, install the Bleam extension on it, and use it for your automations.
Check for Vinted captchas
Open a Vinted conversation and send a message, or create a listing draft then edit it. If Vinted shows a captcha, solve it: Bleam will resume automatically.
Fully quit and restart the browser
Don't just close the tabs. On Mac: right-click the dock icon → Force Quit. On Windows: right-click the taskbar icon → Close Window. Then relaunch the browser.
Check that you have the latest Bleam version
Go to brave://extensions or chrome://extensions, find Bleam, click "Details" and check the version number. If it's outdated, enable developer mode and click "Update".
Uninstall and reinstall the extension
If the issue persists: on the extensions page, remove Bleam. Go back to the Chrome Web Store, search "Bleam" and click "Add". Sign back in: your configuration and subscription are preserved.
Special case: favourite messages (or AI replies) not going out
If it's mainly your favourite messages or AI replies that aren't sending, check these five points. They're the causes our support runs into most often.
1. Don't keep the Vinted conversation open on screen. If the relevant chat is open in front of you, Bleam may fail to send the automatic message there. Close the conversation (or switch tabs) and let Bleam work in the background.
2. Vinted limit. Vinted caps how many messages you can send per hour. Beyond that, Bleam pauses automatically and resumes on its own a little later. It's not a failure: your remaining messages will go out afterwards, just spread over time.
3. Sending isn't instant. Bleam checks new favourites roughly every 3 minutes and sends the message in the minutes that follow. Right after you turn it on, the very first send can take a little longer to start. Let it run before concluding it's stuck.
4. The browser must stay open and the PC switched on. Bleam runs inside your browser: keep a Vinted tab open and the computer on. On a phone, enable Active Standby in the bubble.
5. Check that favourite messages are enabled. The toggle is in the Bleam bubble on Vinted (it's also available in the dashboard). If it's off, nothing is sent.
