Delete your Bleam account and erase your data

6 steps~5 min read

Want to leave Bleam and have your data erased? Everything happens from your Settings, with no need to contact support. Two things to know before you start, because they are what usually blocks people: deletion requires your password, and your subscription must be cancelled first. After that, you get 30 days to change your mind.

1

First: cancel your subscription

An account with an active subscription cannot be deleted — we don't want to keep billing a deleted account. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first: the steps are in Manage your subscription.\n\nIf you try to delete before that, Bleam answers "Cancel your subscription before deleting your account."

2

If you sign in with Google: set a password

Confirming the deletion requires your password, and nothing else: it is the one proof a stolen session does not have. An account created via Google doesn't have one — the delete button then stays disabled, with the note "Your account has no password (Google sign-in)".\n\nThis is where most requests get stuck. To fix it: Settings"Login & security" section → "Set a password". A 6-digit code is emailed to you, you choose your password, and you can go back to the bottom of the page.\n\nYour Google sign-in keeps working: the password is added, it does not replace it.

3

Request the deletion

Still in Settings, at the very bottom of the page: "Account management" section → "Delete my account". A dialog sums up what will happen, and you enter your password to confirm.\n\nYou then receive a confirmation email. Your access is suspended immediately, but nothing is erased yet.

4

The 30 days to change your mind

Deletion is not immediate: it is scheduled 30 days out. Throughout that period the exact date shows in your Settings, with a "Cancel deletion" button that restores the account as it was.\n\nAfter that, the erasure is final: there is no way to recover the data afterwards.

5

What is erased, and what is kept

Erased: your linked Vinted accounts, your backed-up listings and their photos, your templates, your CRM data (sales, purchases) and your messages.\n\nKept: your invoices, for 10 years. That is an accounting and legal obligation, not our choice; the data attached to them is reduced to the strict minimum.

6

If you cannot follow this path

No longer have access to your mailbox, or the path above is impossible in your case? Write to privacy@bleam.app from the account's email address: the request is handled manually.\n\nThis is a fallback, not the normal route — the self-service above is faster.
