Automatic after-sale on Vinted: messages, reviews and reminders

4 pasos5 min de lectura

A concluded Vinted sale isn't the end: you still need to order the shipping label, reassure the buyer, thank them after completion, and above all collect good reviews. Bleam automates this whole part.

As a sale moves forward, Bleam triggers the right actions at the right time: a message after sale as soon as the buyer has paid, a message after completion, a reminder if the parcel sits at a pickup point, an automatic 5-star review left for the buyer, and a friendly nudge if they haven't rated you yet. Each automation is enabled separately: you choose what Bleam does for you.

1

Open the After-sales page and pick the Vinted account

From Bleam, open After-sales. If you manage several Vinted accounts, pick the right one at the top of the page: each account has its own settings.

Every automation on this page relies on the same sale-detection engine: Bleam checks your sales every few minutes and handles those from the last 15 days. It's the same engine that powers automatic shipping labels: as soon as a sale is detected, Bleam can order the shipping label on its own, even before the first message.

After-sale automation is available on higher plans.

2

Turn on your automatic messages

Four messages are available, each with its own switch and its own text:

- Message after sale: as soon as the buyer has paid. *"Thank you for your purchase! I'm preparing your parcel and will ship it very soon :)"*
- Message after completion: when the buyer has confirmed receipt. *"Thanks for confirming the order! I hope you enjoy the item :)"*
- Pickup-point reminder: if the parcel has been waiting at a pickup point for 24 h without being collected. *"Your parcel is waiting at the pickup point, remember to collect it :)"*
- Review nudge: if the buyer hasn't rated you 24 h after completion (never if they already left a review). *"If you have 10 seconds, a quick review would mean a lot 🙏"*

Enable the ones you want. Each message goes out only once, and never during a dispute or a return.

Turn on the automatic 5-star review

Reviews sell: the more your profile has, the more buyers trust you. As soon as a sale is completed, Bleam leaves the buyer a 5-star review with your text (default: *"Perfect transaction, wonderful buyer. Thank you!"*). The buyer gets the Vinted notification "someone left you a review", which strongly encourages them to rate you back.

The review only goes out if completion is less than 72 hours old, once per sale, never during a dispute. Combined with the review nudge (see "Turn on your automatic messages"), it quickly grows your review count.

Let Bleam run

Once your automations are on, there's nothing left to do. Bleam checks your sales regularly, detects each step (payment, shipping, delivery, completion) and triggers the right action at the right time.

Everything is duplicate-proof: Bleam remembers which sales it has already handled and re-reads the conversation before writing, so each message or review goes out only once. To keep everything running, keep your browser open on the dedicated Vinted tab and your computer on.

What is said in the video (in French), translated into English and lightly edited for reading.

0:00But what happens when the item is sold? Bleam takes over from that moment and does for you what you've been doing by hand until now. First, it orders the shipping label automatically. Just turn the option on, and Bleam downloads the label by itself, so you no longer have to request the label and confirm. Everything is done, and you can easily grab the label right after.

0:27For Colissimo, you can also choose whether you ship from a drop-off point or from home. At the same time, Bleam sends the buyer the message you chose, for example "Thank you for your purchase, I'm preparing your parcel and will ship it very soon". From there, all you have left to do is drop off the parcel.

0:56Once the parcel has reached the buyer's pickup point, if the person hasn't collected it, Bleam sends them a short message 24 hours later: "Your parcel is waiting at the pickup point, remember to collect it". Once they've collected it and the sale is completed, you can also send a message, for example "Thank you, I hope you like the item, see you soon".

1:18And 24 hours later, if the person hasn't left a review, Bleam sends them a message, with whatever text you like, encouraging them to leave a review on your profile. A small detail: if there was a dispute during the transaction, for example because the item wasn't in good condition, this message doesn't go out. That's handy: you don't nudge an unhappy buyer into leaving a one-star review. The message only goes out if the transaction went well.

1:50You can also turn on the option that automatically leaves a review for the person who bought your item: you write the review you want to leave. That's it for after-sales automation.

2:08Next, you can turn on Auto stock. It's for people who sell exactly the same item several times: say you have the same pair of shoes twice. You turn on Auto stock for those shoes, and Bleam puts the listing back online. Of course, it needs some changes, a bit like reposts: each time this identical listing goes back online, you apply changes, for example a blurred frame or a crop. These are exactly the same settings as for reposting. If you have the same item several times, you create as many variations as you have items in stock.

3:01Once that's done, you turn on Auto stock in the Dressing. For example, take my military shorts: say I have five of them, I turn on Auto stock here. The item just needs to be backed up first: here I started the backup, and as soon as the extension is online, the listing is backed up and I can turn on Auto stock.

3:35And speaking of backups, you can turn on auto-backup straight from the Dressing, by clicking here. Every hour, Bleam goes through your closet and backs up the new listings. That way you can turn on Auto stock for an item, and if your account ever runs into a problem, you'll be able to transfer your backed-up listings to a new Vinted account.

4:10While I'm on Vinted: every action you see here can also be done from the Bleam website, and a large share of the website's actions can also be done from your Vinted interface. They're simply two interfaces. Our goal is to centralize everything on the Bleam website, but don't forget you can also act directly on Vinted.

4:36While I'm at it: if you ever have an issue with your messages to favorites, or if the assistant isn't replying, because of a browser issue for example, just click this button in the Bleam bubble, and it restarts messages to favorites automatically. It's handy: it fixes most issues.

5:01I forgot to tell you about response analysis, for messages to favorites. When I go to Messages to favorites, if you've already sent several, you see the reply rate and the purchase rate of each message. That's the whole point of writing several messages to favorites: you add several variants of a message, Bleam sends each one at random, and response analysis shows you what percentage of people bought your item after each message, and how many replied. With your reply rate and purchase rate, you choose for yourself the message to favorites that works best for your account.

6:02There you go, I think I've covered everything. In the next video, we'll talk about Nexus, Bleam's most powerful AI model, to go even further with automation.
