How I Successfully Manage Multiple Vinted Accounts (sans aucun problème)

Wanting to have multiple Vinted accounts is very common when you start selling seriously. The problem is that Vinted doesn't really like it... and their rules are pretty strict. But today I'm going to show you how to avoid multi-account Vinted bans.

Personally, I've been selling on Vinted for several years, and I've tested quite a few methods to successfully manage multiple accounts without risk. In this article, I'll explain the two methods I use today depending on the two scenarios: if you want to create a new account on phone, or if you prefer to do it on computer.

Creating a new account on phone

The most technical method

When you connect to the Vinted app, the system detects what's called an IP/MAC address. I won't go into technical details but basically, it's a unique identifier linked to your phone.

If you try to connect to another account from the same device, Vinted will notice and can block you.

1

Rule #1: A new phone is mandatory

You need another phone. There's no other choice.

2

Rule #2: Different phone number required

When creating the account, Vinted also asks for a different phone number. There, several options:

Option 1: eSIM (more practical)

Buy an eSIM on OnOff for example, an app that gives you multiple numbers on the same phone. That's what I use today, and honestly it's the simplest.

Option 2: Prepaid SIM card

Buy a prepaid SIM card, like Mobicarte Orange or Lebara — you can find them everywhere, in tobacco shops or supermarkets.

Option 3: A relative's number

Use a relative's number (if that person doesn't have a Vinted account yet).

3

Rule #3: Managing IBANs between your accounts

Another important thing: you can't use the same IBAN on multiple Vinted accounts. But there's a little trick. Personally, I do it like this: I add my IBAN only when I want to transfer my money, and as soon as the payment is received, I delete my IBAN in the app settings (Settings → Payments → Remove payment method). This allows me to reuse it on my other accounts without problem.

Banking tip

If you want to avoid juggling between your accounts, know that some banks (like Revolut or N26) allow creating multiple IBANs from a single account. Super practical for this.

4

Golden rule: never mix your accounts

Once an account is connected on a phone, don't add another one. Not even once. It's really the fastest way to get spotted by Vinted.

The simple alternative: using the computer

If all this seems a bit too much hassle, there's a much simpler method: using the computer. On Chrome or Brave, you can create multiple browser profiles: one profile = one Vinted account. And if you use Bleam, the extension I developed to automate your sales, this method is perfect. It allows you to manage everything properly, without headaches.

What about Wi-Fi, can we use the same one for multiple accounts?

That's a question many people ask. Before, no: Vinted often blocked accounts linked to the same Wi-Fi. But today, it's no longer a problem at all.

Vinted no longer bases itself on your internet connection, but on your device identifiers (the MAC address I mentioned above). So yes, you can use two different phones with two distinct accounts on the same Wi-Fi, no problem.

Maximize your sales with Bleam

Whatever method you choose, the Bleam extension allows you to automate your tasks on all your Vinted accounts. Take advantage of Pro and Enterprise subscriptions to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

In summary

One account = one phone. A different number each time (SIM or OnOff). An IBAN to manage intelligently. And above all, never mix between accounts. There you go, you know everything. I hope this will help you avoid the mistakes I made at the beginning.
