AirDrop is handy for a few photos, but it gets slow and unreliable beyond several hundred. If you shoot product photos on iPhone and edit them on Mac before publishing on Vinted, here's the method we use daily at Bleam to transfer 1000+ photos in under 3 minutes.
Use the « Image Capture » app
Image Capture is an app already installed on every Mac (find it via Spotlight with Cmd + Space). It's Apple's native tool for bulk photo transfers from a camera or iPhone.

Plug your iPhone in
Connect your iPhone to your Mac with a Lightning or USB-C cable. Unlock the iPhone and accept the « Trust this computer » prompt if asked.
Run the transfer
Open Image Capture on the Mac. Select your iPhone in the left sidebar. Pick the photos to transfer (or select all) and the destination on your hard drive. Click « Import ».
Count roughly 3 minutes for 1000 photos. The transfer doesn't stop if the iPhone sleeps.
