Method 1: USB cable in MTP mode (the fastest)
Ideal to transfer 1000+ photos in under 5 minutes.
On Android:
1. Plug your phone in with a compatible USB cable.
2. Swipe the notification bar down.
3. Tap the « USB charging » notification.
4. Pick « File Transfer (MTP) ».
On your computer:
- Windows: your phone shows up in File Explorer, navigate to the DCIM/Camera folder.
- Mac: install the free Android File Transfer app (by Google) to access files.
Tip: USB 3.0 cables (often blue inside) are significantly faster than standard ones.
Method 2: cloud sync

- Google Photos: automatic background sync, configurable to wait for Wi-Fi and/or charging. Accessible from any browser at photos.google.com.
- OneDrive / Dropbox: alternatives with similar sync options.
Once sync is enabled, your photos are automatically accessible on your computer with no manual step each time.
