How many items can I back up?

Your default quota is 1,000 backed-up items (extendable on request via support). Backups (manual from the Backups menu in your closet, and automatic every hour) are included in every Bleam plan. If you're unsure about your plan, check it from the Billing page.

Does the backup include high-resolution photos?

Yes, Bleam saves the original image of each item, in high resolution. It matters for the quality of reposting.

How long does a backup take?

Roughly 1-2 minutes for 50 items, and 5-10 minutes for 200+ items. The scan runs in the background, you can use your browser normally during that time.

Is my stock really safe?

Your backups are stored on Bleam servers (Europe, GDPR compliant). In case of a Vinted restriction, you can restore your catalog on a new account in minutes: a safety net for resellers who live off Vinted.

Does the automatic backup run on its own?

Yes. Once automatic backup is enabled (on an eligible plan), Bleam checks your closet every hour and saves your new listings as it goes. There's nothing to relaunch manually. The check runs in the background as long as the Bleam extension is active (a Vinted tab open). Manual backup stays available at any time via the Backups menu in your closet.

What happens to sold items in my backups?

A sold item is automatically removed from the backup after 3 weeks (21 days). This is intentional: the backup is mainly there to protect and repost your active listings. You stay in control: in the dashboard, Backups tab, the « Delete sold items immediately » option removes sold items as soon as they sell. When it's off, they're kept for 21 days before automatic deletion. So if you want to keep a record of a sold item, transfer or export it before that window closes.

Can I export my backups to CSV or Excel?

Yes. In your dashboard, open the relevant account, then the Backups tab: an « Export » button sits next to the search bar. Pick CSV (opens in Excel, ; separator) or Excel (.xlsx), and the file downloads straight away. The export lists your backed-up listings (title, price…). It's included with backup, available on every Bleam plan.

Back up and transfer your Vinted listings

Bleam's backup system does two things: it protects your closet in case of a Vinted restriction (if your account is blocked, you can restore everything elsewhere in clicks) and it lets you transfer stock from one Vinted account to another. Handy for pro resellers managing multiple accounts or migrating a catalog.

Open the Backups menu

Go to your Vinted closet page (« Items » tab). A floating green « Backups » button appears on the page (bottom-right, added by Bleam). Click it to open the menu.

Start a full backup

A "My automatic backups" window opens. You'll see your backup history by account. Click "Back up the current account's listings" at the bottom right. A popup asks you to confirm the action for the displayed account.

Wait for the scan to finish

Bleam scans your items one by one. A progress bar appears at the bottom right of Vinted (« Backing up... 2/43 »). Count 1-2 minutes for 50 items. The scan continues even if you switch tabs.

Transfer your listings to another account

Once items are backed up:
1. Sign in to the destination account (Account B).
2. Open the Backups menu.
3. Click on the profile containing Account A's listings.
4. Select the items to transfer (or « Select all »).
5. Click « Publish on current account ».

Enable photo modification (strongly recommended)

Important: before publishing on Account B, enable the « Photo modification with blur » option (or Photo rotation).

Why? Vinted detects identical images. If you republish the exact same photos, the listing may be flagged as a duplicate and removed. Bleam tweaks the image (imperceptible blur or light rotation) to make it unique to Vinted's algorithm.
