The centralised inbox: all your Vinted messages in one place
The Messaging page of your dashboard gathers every Vinted conversation from all your connected accounts in a single inbox. You read, reply, send photos and handle offers without opening Vinted — from your computer or the mobile app. One thing to understand upfront: the inbox is not real-time. Your agent (extension or Cloud session) syncs the conversations and delivers your replies; everything goes out on its next pass.
One inbox for all your accounts
Open Messaging in your dashboard menu. Conversations from all your connected Vinted accounts flow in together, with the unread counter. If you have several accounts, the Accounts panel filters by account, and switches between your selling accounts and your purchase accounts (on a purchase conversation you are the buyer: reading and replying work, offer actions remain for your sales).
The search covers the other person's username and the item title — never the content of the messages.
Freshness depends on your agent: as long as a browser with the extension is running (or a Bleam Cloud session is active), the inbox fills and updates by itself.
Reply from Bleam: text, photos, offers
Inside a conversation you can:
- write a reply ("Write a reply…" field);
- send a photo (up to 10 MB after compression);
- handle offers: accept a received offer, send a counter-offer, or make your own offer with the "Make an offer" button. Good to know: Vinted does not allow *declining* an offer — it expires on its own.
Watch out for contact details: Vinted blocks messages containing an email, a phone number or another network — Bleam warns you before sending.
Why your message doesn't leave right away
When you click Send, your message is deposited, not sent: it joins a queue, and your agent will send it on its next pass — the extension in an open browser, or your Bleam Cloud session.
Each message shows its state: queued, sending, sent (visible in the Vinted conversation), then "Seen" once the buyer opened the conversation.
If no agent is reachable (browser closed, no Cloud), the message waits for the reconnection. Beyond 2 hours without an agent, the send expires and nothing is sent — the message is marked "Not sent" with a Retry button. Another safeguard: if the conversation moved on Vinted while you were writing, nothing goes out; read the new message, then send again.
Sorting things out: noise filters, folders, archives
The Filters and sort panel helps keep only what needs your attention:
- Unread: unread conversations only.
- Hide system messages: notifications from Vinted support.
- Hide order activity: conversations whose last message is an automatic order event ("Parcel shipped", "Delivered", review…).
- Hide unanswered favourites: automatic favourite messages that got no reply — an unread message always stays visible.
For tidying up: create your own folders ("My folders" section), move conversations into them, and archive what's finished ("Archived" folder). Deleting a folder never deletes conversations: they simply leave the folder.
The AI assistant, thread by thread
If the AI assistant replies to your buyers, the inbox shows what it did on each conversation: "Replied", "Needs your action" (it hands back to you), "Deliberate silence", or "Muted". A dedicated filter shows only the conversations where the assistant hands back to you.
To take over one conversation without switching anything off elsewhere: open it and choose "Mute the bot on this conversation". The assistant goes quiet there, you reply yourself, and you can re-enable it in the same place at any time. Other conversations are untouched.
The signals that avoid missteps: sold, seen, disputes
The inbox annotates conversations with what Vinted already knows:
- "Item sold": the item was sold to another buyer — no point following up with this person.
- "Seen" under your message: the buyer opened the conversation. The other person's last connection also shows at the top of the thread.
- Disputes: a card flags an ongoing dispute on the order, and "Dispute — decision expected" when it's your turn to propose a solution. The details and the response are handled on Vinted ("Resolve on Vinted" button).
