Kavis: create your Vinted listings from your photos
Bleam handles the selling side: answering buyers, managing shipping, bumping listings. Kavis handles what comes before: creating and publishing your listings from your photos. It is a separate tool, published by the same company as Bleam, at kavis.io. Here is what it does well, and what it does less well.
What Kavis does
You drop a whole batch of photos at once (up to 2,000 per session). Kavis:
1. splits the folder into items: it works out where each garment starts and ends;
2. fills in each listing: title, description, brand, size, condition, colour, material and price;
3. publishes to Vinted from your account, once you have reviewed and validated.
Reviewing stays with you: every listing goes through the "To review" step before publishing, and you fix things in one click. A fix that should stick ("this brand, always that one") can become a rule Kavis applies to your next listings.
Getting access
Kavis is free during its beta, with no payment method. Two ways in:
- with your paid Bleam subscription: create your Kavis account with the same email as your Bleam account. A Bleam trial is not enough;
- with the partner role on a partner Discord server, by linking your Discord.
Publishing goes through the Kavis Chrome extension, on the Vinted account signed in on the browser. The number of Vinted accounts is not limited: for several shops, use one browser profile per account.
Its limits
- Very similar items. Kavis separates garments using the order and time of the photos and what they show. Two near-identical items (same model, same colour, different sizes) shot one after the other may be grouped into a single listing. When it hesitates, Kavis says so ("Uncertain split", "This split was a close call. Check this group."): check those groups when reviewing. To help it, put each item in its own sub-folder: an item never spills over from one sub-folder to another.
- Photo order. Shoot each garment whole first, then its details (label, measurements, flaws), then move on to the next. If you start with the details, Kavis takes the full shot for the start of a new garment, and one item ends up split in two.
- 20 photos per listing, Vinted's limit. Beyond that, Kavis splits automatically ("Split at 20 photos"): check that these really are two items.
- Some brands: Kavis does not recognise every brand's models yet. It tells you when that is the case.
- Beta guardrails: a number of sessions per day and a number of items per month. Kavis warns you when you reach them. One big batch therefore works better than ten small ones.
