Vinted's help page on content recommendations says that, to rank listings, it looks among other things at how long the item has been listed, the interactions it has had (impressions, favourites, clicks) and its price. A listing that got no reaction in its first days is quickly buried under new ones, especially if it costs more than similar items of the same brand and size.
There's no point slashing the price on day three: one drop a week, followed by a relisting, is enough to put it back in front of buyers (see our guide Boost your listing visibility with reposting).

Wait 7 days without a sale, lower the price by 5% of the original price, relist 3 days later, and repeat every 7 days until you reach the floor. Work out each step from the original price, so every drop is the same size and you know from day one where the item will end up.
An example with a Strategy in Bleam's Lifecycle: an item listed at €40, −5% a week, with an 80% floor.
| Round | Drop | New price | Relisting |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | D+7 | €38 | D+10 |
| 2 | D+14 | €36 | D+17 |
| 3 | D+21 | €34 | D+24 |
| 4 | D+28 | €32 (floor) | D+31 |
In one month, the item gets 8 pushes (4 price drops, 4 relistings) and never goes below €32. As soon as it sells, everything stops.
For a sought-after brand, give it 10 to 14 days before the first drop. On a cheap item, €1 or €2 off reads better than a percentage.
The floor is the price an item will never go below. Set it before the first drop, not on the evening you're sick of seeing it in your wardrobe: purchase price, costs and minimum margin for an item bought to resell, or the price below which you'd rather keep something from your own wardrobe.
Bleam's Lifecycle sets it between 30 and 90% of the original price (at €40 with 80%, never below €32). To hold your ground on offers, read the Vinted negotiation guide.
An item that piles up favourites is either underpriced or in demand, and lowering it would just give your margin away. Raise it instead, by 10% of the original price each time it gains a set number of new favourites, up to +30%. As for its favourites, save them for a private offer.
Example: €40 → €44 → €48 → €52 at most.
Vinted's help pages confirm it: members get the notification "The price of the item you've favorited has been reduced", and your followers are notified when you lower a price.
So every drop is a free message to everyone who hesitated. Start with the items that have favourites, make the steps big enough to see (a buyer reacts to €38 instead of €40, not to €39.50), and stick to one drop a week, or the notification stops working.
Vinted also lets you make an offer to favourites, and Bleam sends it for you a few minutes after each new favourite, with or without an offer: Automatic favourite messages.

Black Friday falls on the Friday after the fourth Thursday of November, and all week long buyers come looking for deals. Start three weeks ahead, and treat it as a temporary discount with a floor and an end date.
3 weeks before
Put items unsold for over a month on a price-drop plan with a floor. Leave the ones with favourites alone, you'll use them for offers.
2 weeks before
Turn on the bundle discount and list your new items, so they have time to collect favourites.
1 week before
Apply the last price step, so the "price reduced" notification lands during Black Friday week.
Black Friday week
Relist your best listings and send a private offer of 10 to 15% to every new favourite. Then go back to your usual pace.
On bundles, Vinted's help page puts it plainly: the bigger the discount, the more members are tempted to buy several items. And it leaves each item's listed price untouched.

Bleam's Lifecycle does all of this for you. Pick a ready-made Strategy (Anti-stagnation, Clearance, Smart) or your own, shared across all your accounts, set the floor, and Bleam lowers, raises and relists at the right time on every listing you hand it. The Smart template adjusts each item based on what sells in the same type of item and price range, and the Journal logs every action with its reason. For Black Friday, duplicate your Strategy, bring the Steps closer and raise the floor.
Lifecycle is in early access on the Entreprise plan: turn on the Beta Program in your Settings and it shows up in your dashboard, along with favourite messages and the Intelligent Assistant. The Entreprise plan is €60/month, with a 14-day free trial, no commitment.
After 7 days without a sale: lower it by 5% of the original price, relist it 3 days later and repeat every week down to the floor. At €40 with an 80% floor, the item goes to €38, €36, €34 and then €32 within a month.
Yes. Members who favourited the item get "The price of the item you've favorited has been reduced", and your followers are notified too.
Yes for items that are stalling, with a floor and an end date: bundle discount two weeks before, last price step one week before, then a private offer to every new favourite.
With Bleam's Lifecycle: you pick a Strategy and a floor, and Bleam lowers, raises and relists on its own, logging every action. It's in early access on the Entreprise plan, through the Beta Program.
