The Insights page: what sells fast, what sits, and your fees
The Insights page (Insights in the Bleam menu) answers three questions: what sells fast, what sits, and how much you keep once fees are paid. Four tabs: Speed, Trends, Dead stock and Fees.
Speed: how many days it takes you to sell
The Speed tab opens first. "Median time to sell, in days" counts the days between an item's last listing and its sale: half of your sales go faster, the other half slower. "From purchase to sale, in days" fills in once your sales are linked to your purchases (see The SKU).
At the top, pick the period (30d, 90d, 12m or All) and, from two Vinted accounts on, the account. Short sentences tell you what stands out, such as your best time slot; the cross hides one for 7 days. From 30 sales, "When your sales close" shows your strongest days and hours, in Paris time.
Group by criterion: what sells fast, what lags
In "Median time to sell, by", pick Category, Brand, Size, Condition or Price. Each row gives its Sales, its Median and the gap to yours: "2× faster", "1.5× slower" or "≈ median". The bar goes right when these items sell faster than usual, left when they lag.
A row only shows from 10 dated sales: over a short period, the table may stay empty.
Trends: is your stock growing, is it aging?
The Trends tab draws three curves, recorded every night across all your accounts: "Items online", "Listed value" (your listed prices) and "Median stock age". When the age climbs, your stock is aging faster than it sells. The curves build up day by day.
Dead stock: find the listings that sit
The Dead stock tab shows your stock online today:
- "Listings online for 90+ days": "See the oldest in Dressing" opens the Dressing on your Live listings, sorted "Oldest first". From there, you can repost them (see Dressing).
- "Tied-up value": what your items in stock cost you, with "See these items in Stock".
- "Listings with no views" for 7 days or more, with "See the least viewed in Dressing".
Below, "Online stock by age band" sorts your listings by age.
Fees: your net profit for the month
The Fees tab works out "Net profit this month": collected revenue, minus purchase costs, minus fees. "Net profit, last 12 months" shows one bar per month, in red when the month is a loss.
Vinted fees (Bumps, Wardrobe Spotlight) come in on their own from your invoices: they show in the Fees list, marked "Vinted invoice". If purchase costs are missing on part of the month's sales, the card says so: the real profit is then lower (see Enter your purchase costs).
Add your other costs
Packaging, subscriptions: click "Add a fee". Give a Label and an Amount, then a Date, or tick "every month" and pick the Day of the month. The net profit updates right away.
Don't add your Bumps or Wardrobe Spotlight: they already come from your invoices and would count twice. To remove a fee you added, pick "Delete" in its row's ⋯ menu.
